Department of Fisheries Engineering is a constituent department of College of Fisheries, Shirgaon, Ratnagiri. This Department is equipped with different Models of Fishing Gears, Crafts, Marine Engines, Advanced Navigation, Communication & Fish Finding Equipment’s.

Objective:

  • To conduct B.F.Sc. and M.F.Sc (Fisheries Engineering & Technology) programs.
  • To carry out research in the field of fisheries engineering aspects.
  • To conduct extension programs

The Department has well developed infrastructure facilities such as Smart Classroom, Laboratory-cum-workshop.
