The NSS unit organizes blood donation camps in association with Civil Hospital, Ratnagiri, Red Cross Society, HDFC Bank and Gram Panchayat, Shirgaon. In the year 2017-18, total four blood donation programmes were organized and collected 120 bottles of blood.

Unit organized cleanliness campaigns in College premises in the cleanliness drive.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, unit organized tree plantation programme in College premises. Around 250 plants of various species were planted during the tree plantation programme.

Around 200 mangrove plants were planted at Mirya beach and Shirgaon creek to protect coast erosion in the special drive of mangrove plantation.

The various yoga day’s were celebrated by NSS unit of College which include – Gandhi Jayanti, National Youth Day – Swami Vivekanand Jayanti, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Jayanti, National Unity Day – VallabhBhai Patel Jayanti, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Agriculture Education Day, Yoga Day, College Foundation Day, International Beach Cleaning Day.

NSS unit organized awareness programme on body and organ donation, Maharashtra Government organized Maha Avayav Dan Rally, AIDS awareness rally, Kargil Vijay Din Rally.

Every year NSS unit organizes Nirmalya Sankalan Campaign on the occasion of Ganesh Idol Immersion on Gauri – Ganpati Visarjan and Anant Chaturdashi at Mandavi and Bhatye Beach, Ratnagiri.

NSS unit actively organized Road safety campaign, Photography competition, Rangoli Competition, Essay Competition, Participated in Painting competition, Shradhanjali to Uri attack soldiers, fund raising for Army welfare, Construction of Vanrai Bandhara, motivational lectures, personality development workshops for students.

NSS unit organizes regular 5 days residential camp in fisher village to acquaint NSS volunteers with the life of fishers. The various awareness programmes on education, health, social problems, cleanliness campaigns and employment opportunities in fisheries are being organized in the camp.
